Have we met? I’m Judy Holiday…

I’m not a doctor but I’ve been prescribing leisure and wellness travel solutions for busy people since 2010. I started my travel business as a “side-hustle” while living in the Washington DC metro area where I began writing “Rx: Take a Vacation!” on notepads for my clients living in the fast lane of life who told me their problems then asked for my advice.

I’ve been a travel agency owner for 15 years. A few years ago I had the opportunity to study digital media content creation at UCSD Extension. Going back to school in this season of life was enriching and rewarding, not to mention an incredible, much-needed boost to my ego. Upgrading my creative skills proved to be serendipitous if not timely as I began rebranding my travel business with more emphasis on health and wellness…just before a crazy little bug nicknamed Covid-19 upended travel worldwide.

I relocated to southern California from the Washington, DC market in 2014 to be near and support family. I’m enjoying reinventing my personal brand while rebuilding my travel consulting business here in beautiful San Diego. I was raised to believe every citizen should be involved in making their local community a better place to live, so I served several terms on the Midway Pacific Highway Community Planning Group board and two terms on the San Diego Airport Noise Advisory Committee. I don’t own a TV because I’d rather be dancing, singing Karaoke, reading, writing or exploring and learning about San Diego’s fascinating history and biodiversity. I keep flip flops in my car, and usually have a camera with me. Most of all I treasure any time with family.
